The multi-purpose powder 1kg automatic fire extinguisher is extremely popular with boat owners for engine compartments. Supplied with a good mounting bracket, it can also protect any unoccupied areas such as a small flammable liquid store.
You can mount this automatic powder fire extinguisher with the discharge head at any angle below the horizontal - this should not be mounted facing upwards. Additionally, take care to not position the extinguisher close to sources of direct heat.
Suitable for boats, plant rooms, engine bays, flammable liquid stores
Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas) and safe around live electrical equipment
