The 9ltr foam extinguisher with antifreeze can be placed in areas that may have low temperatures in colder times of the year. Allowing the extinguisher to operate below 0°C the antifreeze will stop the extinguisher freezing or the lining being damaged to temperatures as low as -9°C.
If you store an extinguisher in low temperature areas without antifreeze, your service technician may tell you it needs replacing and it won't be covered by the warranty as this would not be normal wear and tear. Which could prove to be an expensive cost not budgeted for.
This extinguisher still has the same 6 year warranty that our standard foam extinguishers have and can still be commissioned and serviced by any competent technician to British Standard 5306 Part 3.
